weird dream #1
I have lots of weird dreams, and I am almost sure I have talked about a couple of them on this blog, but since it is almost a regular occurance for me to have a weird dream, I have decided to post them, starting from one and going on until I get tired of posting them. The first weird dream in question happened last night...Sometimes when you see something, such as a picture or a letter, before bedtime, it will trigger what happens in your dream. Even your everyday thoughts can find their way into your dreams. I remember when I was younger (probably 5 or so) I desperately wanted to dream that I was a gunner in charge of mortars, shooting airplanes out of the sky. I asked my brother if he was able to dream about things that he wanted to dream about. His answer was "yes", and I was amazed. I wanted to learn this secret of being able to dream about things that thought would be cool, so I asked him how he did it. He told me that all you had to do was to think about it really hard (right before you fell asleep) and your dream would follow from those thoughts. Well, I tried it and it didn't work. However, from that day forward, I started to have weird dreams. I have talked to people who have told me that they have weird dreams also, but theirs never even come close to mine. In my Senior High School English class, my teacher would try to interpret our dreams, but I never had the guts to tell her the stuff that I had dreamt about. Anyways, now that I have explained about how I came about this interesting gift (yes, I am gifted), I will tell you about my dream.
Shortly before I went to bed, I was talking to my mom. As we were talking, I looked at a picture we have of Lonnie and all his brothers and sisters (his wife included) on our refridgerator. I went to bed later and my dream began.
I was back in Washington, attending my school reunion. I saw former friends and people I didn't even recognize, although I knew them somehow. I was instantly transported from the reunion to Lonnie's house (instant-transmission happens alot in my dreams). But he wasn't living in his own house (in real life, Lonnie lives with his wife in their own home), he was living in his parent's home. He was giving me a tour, and he told me that his parents and his wife's parents gave them a great gift. He led me down the stairs, and it started to become more dark and cramped. He told me that his parents (on both sides) had built him a room for him and his wife. This "room" was more like a small space with two seperate beds. It looked like the below decks of a olde pirate ship, complete with hardwood floors, dimly lit candles, and little anime figurines on shelves (what!?!). I was completely shocked at this life that my good friend was leading, but then my dream ended.
Okay, so this one wasn't that weird, but as the list continues, there will be more weird ones.

Last night I dreamt I was biking all over Pensacola. Plus that oriental girl from Battlestar Galactica was in it. I ran into her in some weird little town in Kansas. That was pretty weird.
here's mine from last night: I got pregnant from some hybrid of my sister's ex-friend's brother and a guy I work with, and then I had to get 26 surgeries all in the same spot on my stomach, one for each letter of the alphabet. I think i win.
You know, Sarah, they say dreams always mean something. You might want to figure that one out!
did your dream have anime figurines in it sarah? i didn't think so :)
yeah, but surgeries of the ALPHABET? I remember the letter "O" took place at this pool thing with dolphins, and the letter "N" was in this place with a really messy closet. Come on, I win, I win! (by the bye, what the heck happened to our hangings out?)
Hey Juan.
Sounds like a sweet dream thanks to the cylon apperance.

what in the weird..did you tell Lonnie about it? Maybe they do have a basement room with Anime figurines.
Maybe you are actually are telling the future with your dreams!!!
It kinda runs in the family though. I just figured out that my sleep talking is actualy a language called SeTswana, which is a tribal tongue only spoken in Botswana.
