ah....art

I have finally finished my portfolio for Flagler College and I intend on sending it off with my prayers tomorrow. I really hope that I get in, but I can't not think about the other side of the equation. I could be refused from the college, and frankly I don't know what I would do if I was not accepted into the college. I would ask that all of those who read my blog would keep me in their prayers as I wait for the news. In the meantime, I have some pictures from a long day of scanning to present to my loyal fans. Here they are.

This one was taken outside of the old theater by Leaf and Ladle.

The famed bottle tree in Sarah and Nathanael's backyard.

A photo of a painting at the J.W. Marriott in Orlando.

The bench outside of Trinity.

My shadow pointing to where we live (or as close as I could remember).

The number of someone's destroyed house in Biloxi.

Cat-eyed statues in my front yard.

A set of new-fangled monkey bars at a park in Bluewater.

That's all I have for now. I hope you enjoy them.

I'm a sucker for bw photos of statues - they always remind me of ancient cemeteries; however, the monkey bar shot is wicked cool.

Hi Luke,
I really like your photography style. I dont think I could say this unless I knew you, so I guess it is an added perk, but I can so clearly read your personality in those pictures. I guess that is just because I have a pre-existing knowledge of you. I wonder what people would say about you if they were seeing your pictures for the first time and didnt know you? Personally, I think the shadow geography picture speaks volumes about your sense of humor. It's my favorite one, well, I also really like the trinity bench picture too. I would put it on a CD cover if I ever made a CD. I'll get to work on it. Oh, while I am praying for you to get into Flagler, if you dont, go ahead and consider the Spirit to be calling you to Washington.
